Prem Rawat, also known as Maharaji, an honorary title given in India as a sign of respect, has been travelling the world for more than four decades, inspiring people to find peace within.
Born in India, Prem Rawat started at the age of eight presenting this message of peace throughout the Indian subcontinent.
At the age of thirteen he was invited to give conferences in London and Los Angeles. Since then, more than seven million and a half people in more than 250 cities, of 50 countries, have come to listen to his message of peace and hope.
His message is simple and profound. Speaking at the United Nations Conference Centre in Bangkok (Thailand) he expressed:
“The peace we are looking for is within. It is in our heart, waiting to be felt, and I can help people to discover it. It is not the world that needs peace, it is people. When people in this world be in peace, the world will be in peace”.
For those who would like to make inner peace a reality in their lives, he offers inspiration and guidance.
“What I offer is not just talk,” he says, ”but a way to go inside and enjoy the peace that is within.”
